Manganese deficiency-Tomato

Symptoms
Manganese deficient plants show yellowish gold spots, later completely chlorotic zones in the intercostal areas of the younger leaves, whereas the veins and a small seam around them remain green. With ongoing deficiency, gradually growing necrotic spots appear in the chlorotic interveinal tissue. In some cases, symptoms may also appear on older leaves first.

Reasons
Manganese deficiency on the leaf. Tomatoes are very susceptible to manganese deficiency. Transient undersupply can occur during wet seasons or in sandy or peaty soils of a high pH. Temporary Mn deficiency, known as 'growth mottle' may also be seen during flushes of rapid plant growth. Similar symptoms can be found with iron deficiency, but the chlorosis is more severe then, and the veins do not remain green at severe deficiency.
